Day 2
Reflection : I had a lot of frustration making these sunflowers. Every memory I have of trying to paint sunflowers, I get frustrated. It's usually when I try to get too detailed, the sunflowers have a lot of small parts, and the only time I felt relief was when I clumped the color chunks together. I feel a constant need to let go of worry and trust my instincts, the first things I perceive, instantly, not details, but blobs of color and light...I need to put those down and leave them. I also enjoy the pencil lines peaking through, reminding me of the human who made this.
